Concept

A new building for the centre of Dresden, bringing offices, shops, and parking together in a single reinforced-concrete structure of five storeys.

At street level, a mullion-transom (post-and-bolt) façade opens the ground floor to the city, while the upper floors carry the calmer rhythm of the office frame. The work here was one of delivery: taking the design into the construction planning and detailing phase and holding it there, so that what was drawn is what was built. Project image to be added

Role on the project

Construction planning and detailing with Eckert & Stadelmaier Architekten — accompanying the building through the delivery phase, with drawings produced in Nemetschek Allplan FT.

Structure & programme

A reinforced-concrete building of five storeys, combining lettable office space, ground-floor retail, and an underground garage — with an estimated construction cost of around €20 million.

Part of a wider body of work

The Dresden building sits alongside commercial and residential work in Berlin-Kreuzberg from the same period — a stretch of practice focused on turning permit-stage designs into precise, buildable detail.
